If you’re enrolled in a school, university, or coding bootcamp, the Personal plan is $24.50 instead of $49 for your first year. Same app, same features, no account.
Why we do this
Most of us learned iOS development on a borrowed Mac, a lab machine, or a laptop we couldn’t always carry around. Testing on a real iPhone shouldn’t depend on being in the same room as that Mac.
Nuticast is a one-person product, so we can’t give it away. But we can take the price down to the point where it fits a student budget, and supporting people who are still learning is a part of why the app exists.
How it works
- 1.Enter your university email below. We check that the domain belongs to a school or university and send you a confirmation link.
- 2.Click the link. That proves the address is yours and sends your request to us.
- 3.We review it by hand and reply with a personal promo code, usually within two business days.
- 4.Go to Pricing, click “Buy Personal”, and enter the code in the “Add promotion code” field on the checkout page. The first year is charged at $24.50.
Apply
No university email, or not recognised?
Bootcamps and some schools don’t give students an email address, and our domain list isn’t perfect. If the check says no and you’re enrolled, email license@nuticast.com with a photo of your student ID, an enrollment letter, or your GitHub Education status page. Cover anything you don’t want to share, such as your ID number or date of birth.
The fine print
- Each code is single-use and valid for 30 days after we send it.
- The discount applies to the first year of the Personal plan. The renewal is at the regular price; if you’re still a student then, email us before it renews and we’ll set the discount up again.
- Personal plan only. For a classroom or lab, email us about Team seats.
- Your name, email, and school go only into the request email we review. Nothing is stored beyond that.
- The usual 14-day refund still applies.
